To sow or not to sow…
The most powerful verse in the bible is about sowing and reaping. God wanted your attention so badly that He gave you His Son to have it. We need to understand that God is a giver and satan is a taker. Every time you give, God’s nature is flowing through you. God gave a seed with the expectation of getting you and I back to Him. All He wanted was somebody to worship Him, so He said “hold on a minute, I will get someone to worship Me.” What did He do? He sowed seed. He needed to sow a seed to redeem us from our fallen nature. You and I were sinners, but God said “it’s ok; I’m going to sow a seed.” By doing that, God won billions of children all over the place. We need to get to the point where we understand the power of a seed. The bible says that we need to get to the point that everything that a man sows that He will also reap. You don’t sow an avocado seed and then get a mango. It doesn’t work like that!
God wanted children, so He sowed His Son. In this economic crisis, how can you ask someone to give when things are so tight financially? The only way you are going to prosper in this crisis is by sowing. There is a gift inside of you and me. The gift that God gave you has the capability to produce the harvest that you’ve been expecting. God is the master giver, and the bible says that every good gift comes from the Father of lights. I thought I was talking to future lawyers, future millionaires, future doctors, and future business people? I want you to yell this, “there’s a gift in me!” Tell the devil not to put his hand in your belly because there’s a gift inside of you. You carry the ability to own, to possess land, to preach the gospel, baby it’s inside of us! I’m speaking to the people that CBS is going to want to find out about, I’m speaking to brilliant minds! The only way we are going to get out of this crisis is when someone gets up and says “I’m tired of having ‘just enough’, I want ‘more than enough!’”.
If you ever want God to move in your life, you have to sow a seed. Givers have doors open for them. People who know how to give, doors open automatically. You don’t even have to say nothing. You got there and the doors opened. You got there and you found favor, you got the job, you received that thing from God! Let me tell you four things that happened to a man named Elijah:
“1 And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”2 Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, 3 “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 4 And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”5 So he went and did according to the word of the LORD, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook.” 1 Kings 17
Jehovah Jireh
God wants us to know Him as our provider. There’s no way to be blessed financially until we understand that God is Jehovah Jireh. If we are going to speak about Jehovah Jireh, we are going to believe that you are going to have the best jobs in the region. If we are going to speak about financial miracles, then He will move in our finances. The only way that is going to happen is when you elevate your expectation. There are some people who know how to make God bless them. There are some people who know how to put a demand on God and the man/woman of God. There are people who know how to say “in 3 days I’m getting out of debt”. There are some people that know how to beat the devil with a seed. You aren’t going to hold me back, I’m going to purchase the future! Number one, Elijah releases a prophetic word and the devil starts to hate on him. Every time you move in the prophetic, there is all kind of hell that rises against you. Let me tell you something, debt can’t hold you though; the devil can’t hold you, because you’re moving forward!
Every time you snatch souls, every time you expand the kingdom of God, the devil gets upset. It doesn’t matter what the DOW Jones says, what anybody says, the hand of God is over you. The closer you get to your breakthrough, the more intense the opposition is going to get. So when you smell demons all around, don’t be afraid, your breakthrough is right around the corner baby. Keep on fasting, keep on interceding, and keep on giving, because someone is going to come out of debt this year.
Obedience is the key
The next thing we need to watch is our obedience to God. The bible says that God told Elijah to go somewhere. It was God that told you to sow that seed into that man of God, it was God who told you not to get into that credit card, it was God who told you to go honor your mother, to not get with that man, it was God who told you to go through that door but you didn’t. Shout, “Obedience”! When you are obedient to God, He begins to honor you. When you are obedient, all your enemies will scatter. When you obey God, He will make sure you are covered. Say, “obedience”! If you fail to obey that one instruction, you could be scarred for the rest of your life. You can come out of debt with one thing that God told you. Just by obeying that one word from God, you can be free.
God told Elijah that the ravens would feed him, there. Where is there? Where God told you to go. When you make a decision to follow the path of sowing, of honor, to go there, God will bless you. God is going to make a bird feed you. If you stay there, God will use the ones you least expect to bless you. That miracle that you’ve been waiting is going to come the way you least expect it. Run to the place of His presence. Many of us have issues with dealing with finances, especially young people. Many of you might only have a minor understanding of finances. Some of you don’t understand the power of sowing and reaping, and then you wonder why you are so broke. The reason why you are broke is because you broke the law of tithes and offering. You might be saying “but what do I sow in the middle of my crisis?” God sowed His only Son in the middle of crisis! God wants to use you to finance your children’s education and your grand children’s education. You need to get ready for what is coming. The Lord wants to bless you.
I came to tell you that God is going to send His ravens your way, just like He did to Elijah. Whenever you obey a law, there is a recompense for it. You need to be able to dream one more time. The devil might have stolen your dreams. You might not even be able to see past the weekend, but you need to be able to see ahead. You need to be able to see 5, 10, 20 years ahead. You have an awesome future in God. You are a son/daughter of God! Some of you are so passive that you can’t even stand on your seats. Jezebel has got a hold of your teeth and mouth and tied your feet, but I came to call Jezebel a witch! You need to grab a hold of the prophetic anointing and beat down on Jezebel! Tell Jezebel that she’s a witch. You will praise God, you will have open doors, you will possess the future, purchase generational blessing, graduate, and everything else God wants you to do. Beat her with the word of God, break her knees and feed her to the dogs. You are free to worship, dance, shout, sow, scream, and run! Give God a crazy praise right there where you are!
