Say “I have a testimony!” I don’t know if you’ve noticed but God is doing something beautiful. God is lifting up a generation of soul winners! God is lifting up a generation of soul winners. Say “I am soul winner!” I want to talk to you on how to share your testimony and when you share your testimony it has nothing to do with opinion or theory but your experience with Christ. Say “I’ve had an experience with Christ.”
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
See, I don’t know if you been feeling it but God has been turning a quiet believer into a loud believer who is speaking out. People who couldn’t say anything are now looking for someone to witness; they are looking for somebody to talk to. It’s time to be bold, loud, courageous and go out there and find somebody to talk to! Say “I am a witness!” There are three elements to your personal testimony:
1. Talking about what you seen and heard. Sharing your testimony is what you have seen and heard. Slap somebody and say I can’t help it! They want me to be quiet but I can’t help it!
“For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” Act 4:20
When you share your testimony, you will talk about what you have seen and heard. You have seen miracles left and right, you have seen people get saved left and right, heard testimonies left and right. The next time that somebody tells you on the street to be quiet say “I CANT HELP IT!”, and talk about what God has done in your life.
2. A witness is someone who has had a personal experience with the blood of Jesus!
Next time someone questions your faith tell them about what your past was like and what your present is like today; now you’re a prayer warrior! You’ve had a personal experience with the living God!
3. A witness cannot be ashamed to talk about the blood!
Talk about the blood! One day I used to be a sinner but now I’m washed in the blood, the blood of the Lamb that washed away my fornication. It’s the blood of the Lamb that washed away my sin! It’s the blood that turned the abused girl into a virgin again! It’s the blood that washed my mouth and I never said a curse word again. It’s the blood that washed my feet and I never stepped into a club again!
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelation 12:11
Your testimony will never unleash its power unless you let it out; an untold testimony is an unsuccessful testimony. It’s important that we use our testimony to destroy the devil!
1. Describe your life before Christ! Tell people who you used to be before. Gives credibility to who you are now! You need to go out there and describe your life before Christ and people lives will be touch and impacted!
2. Explain what drove you to seek Christ. Don’t be embarrassed to tell people what led you to the church! Don’t be afraid to tell people about your past. If you are afraid to tell others what used to be a bondage in your life, you are depriving them of their deliverance. The fact that God did it for you will help them believe God can do it in their lives too!
3. Describe your first encounter with Christ! This will lead others to have an encounter with Christ. You cannot be afraid to do it!
The same Jesus that shed his blood for you is the same Jesus that died for them!!! We all used to have our sinful ways but the Lord changed us…that’s why you have to say it loud and clear…go out there and share your testimony! Tell them who you used to be; tell them you looking for souls now and one day somebody was looking for you!! If you don’t tell your story today, when you get to heaven it might be to late. When you go to the streets your boss, millionaires, and all of Hollywood are going to hear your story. You never know who you might be winning; you might be winning a banker who says “I wanna bless you.” If you are embarrassed to share your testimony you depreciate the work that God has done for you in your life! There are people who never open their mouth to testify because they’re full of fear and have allowed a spirit to deceive them. We cannot be ashamed to tell others our testimony. When you keep quiet you depreciate the work of the cross! Go out and win souls! God has given you the power by the blood of the lamb and the power of your testimony!
