When you look at what God is doing in your life, what do you see? We all know that God has given us a vision, a vision that gives us the understanding of what God wants us to do in our lives. But what is vision? Another way to define vision is revelation. When we receive a revelation, we receive the understanding of what God is telling us or wanting to do in our lives. In the past weeks, we’ve been talking to you about acceleration.

When God gives us a vision, we must run with that vision. In turn, God has already begun to accelerate our vision. When God gives you a vision, write it down so that you can RUN with it. The vision is for runners, not walkers.  God does not want walkers. You have to run with it.

Difference between walkers & runners
There is a difference in walking with the vision of God and running with the vision. It’s all a matter of timing. The difference between walking and running is how long it takes to get to where you’re supposed to be. Those who run will get there sooner.  Those who walk will never get there on time. When you run with the vision that God has given you, you will arrive to your destination before anyone else does. When you run, what would have taken you 12 years to achieve will only take you 2 months, all because of the acceleration that we are walking in.  Stop walking. Run with the vision that God has given you.  There are certain things you will never grasp or have in life if all you do is walk.

“I will run the course of Your commandments, For You shall enlarge my heart.” Psalm 119:32

We must run in the path of His commands because He has set us free. The word declares that runners will be set free.  If you are still bound to fear of what others will say about you, you cannot run. If you are still worried about your appearance, you cannot run. If you are still bound to your old ways, you cannot run with the vision. Run to the will of God.  Runners know how to get rid of false burdens.  When those bad thoughts are still in your head, you cannot run with the vision that God has given you. That stuff is too heavy to run with.

Runners will obtain the prize

“Flee from the midst of Babylon, and every one save his life. Do not be cut off in her iniquity, for this is the time of the LORD’s vengeance; He shall recompense her.” Jeremiah 51:6

If you have never moved mountains, you cannot run with the vision. When you are a runner you know how to run for your life. When you run with the vision, you will receive the revelation of what God has for your life. Revelation will never be yours if you do not run. We cannot be in or understand what a discipleship is until we have understood the revelation of discipleship. You cannot understand leadership until you have received that revelation.

Only when you have taken someone out of the sex, the clubs, and the lies of the enemy will you truly understand the revelation of what leadership is. Only then will you know the importance of taking someone from hell and bringing them into heaven. When you have the revelation of what you’re doing, only then will you be running with the vision of God.

RUN WITH IT

You will never be able to praise or worship God until you understand the revelation of who God is. You need to realize that you are not just in this church to warm seats. We have the power to succeed, be great and do the impossible. We have the power to be anything we want to be.  We have the ability to make history!

We carry the DNA of God. We were made in the likeness and image of God. What you do is valuable before the eyes of God. When God gives you a vision, run with it as fast as you can until you reach your destination.
