You could taste the love of God in the air. While singing the song “None but Jesus” everyone was crying, pouring their heart out for their Heavenly Father. As the song says there really was none but the sweet, tangible presence of Jesus touching each and every person. Reach out to your savior, He’s there right now, loving you, all you need to do is love him back and you’ll never be the same again.
2 And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. 3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.” Joshua 6.2-5
Attitude adjustment!
Joshua was a man with a different spirit. He was getting ready to take the city of Jericho and God had already told Joshua that the city was his. Like Joshua, God has promised you many things in your life and he wants to give much to you but many times our attitude is what stops us from receiving our blessing. At times life can seem cloudy, impossible, that you’ll never get that blessing but it’s your attitude that’s very important. God wants to do something in your life, but you think God can’t change your life because your over 20 years old and God still hasn’t done anything in your life and your thinking “I’ve been waiting 20 years! How can God do something in my life now?”
God will spoil you if your attitude would let him. Some of you get up in the morning, and you think it’s a complete waste of the day. I got up in the morning and said “God is going to do something today! Glory to God!” Your attitude will determine your outcome! You need to have the attitude of a conqueror. That you’re going to fight regardless of the circumstances and what’s in front of you.
Fight your way out!
Maybe you’re battling with a situation right now, something you believe God can’t change. What do you want God to do for you? What are you expecting God to do in your life? I’ve seen God touch people that for years have been addicted to all kinds of stuff, and in one Friday night here at Chosen Generation their lives have been completely changed and they gave up that addiction. I’m here under the anointing of the Holy Spirit to tell you that God can and will change your life!
It’s time to change!
Maybe you’re wondering if God is real. Maybe you’re thinking that God could change your life like so many others that have been changed. Your attitude is what’s going to determine that. God wants the best for you. Have you been struggling with thoughts in your mind? Maybe you’re believing for a healing? Maybe your family doesn’t even want you in church; maybe they would rather have you high on weed in a club instead of being in the presence of God. Church is not a game. There has to be a hunger in your heart for God, to become more like Him. The God I serve is not dead, and he will never let you down.
Open your heart to him, become like Joshua, get a different spirit than those around you, and don’t allow the circumstances around you to hold you back from your destiny! God promised you ANYTHING your heart desires as long as it’s not sinful or out of pride. Receive the promises that are yours, even if you’ve believed for years and years don’t EVER lose your faith in God! Take what belongs to you like Joshua took the city of Jericho! Conquer that city, take that territory, and don’t let anything hold you back!
